This presentation examines episodes of racial violence in American history and the communities that experienced their consequences. Through historical reflection, it considers destruction, injustice, memory, accountability, and the importance of documenting difficult events so that the experiences of victims, survivors, families, and affected communities are not erased from public understanding.
