Black Wall Street Tulsa

Tulsa’s Greenwood District became nationally recognized as Black Wall Street because of its concentration of Black-owned businesses, professionals, institutions, and community organizations. This presentation follows the rise of Greenwood, the destruction it experienced in 1921, and the historical significance that continues to surround the district more than a century later.
