The Movement

Black Wall Street USA establishes Black Wall Street Districts around the world in the Spirit of the Greenwood community of Tulsa, OK. This Movement is about Almighty God, our Ancestors and Future Generations.

The recent announcement of Black Wall Street Australia, inaugurated with a commemorative seal and a solemn declaration of solidarity, marks a historic turning point in the global struggle for justice and empowerment. It proclaims to the world that African American, African, and Indigenous peoples are bound together by shared histories of resilience and a common vision for the future. This inauguration is not merely symbolic but a sacred act of remembrance and restoration, evoking the spirit of Greenwood’s legacy while extending its reach to new shores. The seal stands as a covenant of unity, affirming that the wealth, creativity, and cultural strength once denied will now be reclaimed and advanced under a collective banner. It is both a tribute to the sacrifices of the past and a proclamation of an unbreakable commitment to secure an inheritance of dignity, equity, and prosperity for generations to come.

Participating in the upcoming Trail of Tears commemoration in 2026 is deeply important because it honors the memory of the thousands of Indigenous people who endured unimaginable suffering during one of the darkest chapters in American history. This event is not only a remembrance of the forced removal of Native nations, but also a living call to acknowledge the resilience, survival, and contributions of their descendants. By taking part, individuals and communities demonstrate solidarity, respect, and a commitment to truth-telling about the past while fostering reconciliation and justice in the present. The Trail of Tears commemoration also provides a powerful opportunity to educate future generations, ensuring that the lessons of displacement, perseverance, and cultural survival are never forgotten, and that the voices of those who walked the trail continue to inspire movements for dignity, unity, and freedom today.

The space in California’s state capital is part cultural center and incubator and has been home to Black entrepreneurs since 2003. As a living testament to resilience and creativity, it preserves the legacy of Black enterprise while providing tangible pathways for future generations to thrive. By fostering collaboration and cultivating talent, it embodies the spirit of Black Wall Street in a modern context, standing as both a cultural beacon and an economic engine. Strategically, this center functions as a vital hub for entrepreneurial growth, equipping Black-owned businesses with resources, mentorship, and opportunities to scale within California’s competitive economic landscape.

Black Wall Street Bridgeport celebrates 15 years of operating in the Spirit of Greenwood, a milestone that reflects endurance, vision, and a deep commitment to the legacy of Tulsa’s Black Wall Street. What began as a local effort in Connecticut has grown into a dynamic force for economic advancement, cultural preservation, and community solidarity. In 2025, Bridgeport stands as living proof that the spirit of Greenwood is not confined to one place or moment in time but can be revived and reimagined wherever people of vision gather to build. This chapter has worked tirelessly to cultivate Black-owned businesses, foster mentorship, and strengthen generational wealth while also creating spaces of cultural pride and collective healing. As it enters its next era, Black Wall Street Bridgeport embodies both continuity with the past and bold leadership for the future, proving that the Greenwood model remains a timeless blueprint for prosperity and justice.

The Black Wall Street USA Africa Council has entered a historic phase of growth and solidarity, now with representatives from the Central African Republic, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe. This expansion is far more than an organizational milestone; it is a powerful affirmation that the vision of Black Wall Street has become a unifying force across continents. By bringing together voices from Africa and the diaspora, the Council is weaving a global fabric of cooperation rooted in shared heritage, economic empowerment, and cultural pride. Each nation represented carries its own history of struggle and triumph, yet all are bound by a common purpose: to advance generational wealth, restore dignity, and strengthen communities through mutual support and enterprise. With this broadened council, Black Wall Street USA stands as a global platform for unity, strategy, and transformation, embodying Greenwood’s spirit on an international scale.

The space in Stonecrest, Georgia stands as a testament to the extraordinary fortitude and vision of the late Bill Allen, a developer whose bold imagination and determination created a foundation for empowerment that continues to inspire. More than a physical structure, it embodies the enduring spirit of resilience, innovation, and community uplift that has long defined the Black experience in America. This landmark represents both a tribute to Allen’s legacy and a living reminder that the dreams of one visionary can ignite opportunities for generations to come. As part of the broader Black Wall Street Global Movement, the Stonecrest site anchors a future where economic strength, cultural pride, and collective progress intersect. Reflecting on its significance, Dr. Michael Carter, Sr., leader of the Black Wall Street Global Movement, affirmed: “Bill Allen dreamed beyond his own lifetime, and in doing so, he gave us a legacy of courage, enterprise, and possibility.”
